This collection of works, in PDF and HTML formats, and dating from the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s comprises helps for labor in liturgy, piety, and ecumenism.
The title of this collection, Pearls From Kailas, The Christian Liturgical Year, started as the title of a book I proposed to my old friend, Tom Lipscomb, upon his soliciting more meditations such as that I titled for All Saints Day 2007. Tom and I share the sensibilities of High Church Anglicans, which is to say Saivites, although Tom likely would not make that connection.
Tom did not reply to my proposal and I did not push the matter. The rationale for the project, however, endured inside me because it is germane to a need of our times. Thus, I include the proposal here. Although my labors in years subsequent to 2007, the year of Tom's RFP and my answer thereto, did not go directly to filling in the proposed outline with essays, meditations, homilies, hymns, and such, those labors have gone to that effect indirectly, although not systematically as the proposal would have required had it been approved and set upon for completion per se.
